A UAE National, born in Dubai, Nadia is a marketing, freight and logistics professional, who worked for some time in the family Business - DULSCO - one of the largest manpower supply companies to the shipping/logistics industry in the Gulf and the oldest in the UAE. She continues to support this industry and enjoys working on various labour issues to ensure the standards are maintained over the years. She was involved in supplying manpower to ports, airports, logistic companies and shipping lines. She got elected initially 7 years ago as an executive board member for NAFL and then elected again as secretary General and served 4 years as secretary general and finally recently elected as the president. Of the National Association of Freight and Logistics. (a chapter of Fiata in the UAE)

QUALIFICATIONS
After completing her BA degree in marketing and advertising and then a Masters degree in Business from AUD - The American University in Dubai – she has taken further courses at Oxford College, London, in web design and multimedia (2000); business communications course at Edinburgh University (1998); and became a Certified ISO Internal Auditor in 2001. CTLP- Certified By Dubai Trade completed(Certified transport/logistic program) 2001-2003 DUBAL (Dubai Aluminium Company) in the marketing department as an assistant business analyst, dealing with international agents, price fixing on the LME(London Metal Exchange market) and reporting on a daily basis to the board of directors and stakeholders on local and international market outlook for the aluminium industry. Went to complete her masters and also joined UNASCO LLC -a national freight forwarding company based in the UAE - and started to manage their international agents and clients. She successfully integrated their entire marketing and advertising campaign and integrated all their systems. She steadfastly worked her way up to managing director over the past 15 years and is also now a major shareholder in the company she works for. Some of the associations
