Mohammed is the Regional Head of Digital Commerce at Visa, focused on digital payment innovation, e-Commerce and fintech.

Before joining Visa in 2014, Mohammed Ali held senior level positions with top tier consulting, banking and technology companies across the US, Canada, and Middle East including Booz & Company and Emirates NBD. Mohammed Ali has also co-founded digital startups in the payments and eCommerce space. A Canadian national, Mohammed Ali holds an MBA from the prestigious London Business School and a Bachelor degree in Computer Science from Concordia University in Canada.

He is an active investor, mentor and advisor in the region’s fintech and startup ecosystem.
